There it grows again.
The Powerball jackpot got another boost late Saturday night after nobody won the $786 million grand prize for that evening's drawing. The estimated jackpot for Monday's drawing stands at $810 million for the annuity payout and $408.9 million for the lump-sum cash payout.
Seven players came close to winning the big one. Tickers in Colorado, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and West Virginia matched the five white ball but not the red powerball. The Texas and West Virginia tickets are worth $2 million because the people who bought them also purchased the Powerplay option. The five others are worth $1 million.
In Louisiana, the most anybody won during Saturday's drawing is $400.
The Louisiana Lotto jackpot also went unclaimed. Wednesday's drawing for that lottery if $1,925,000.
