The New Orleans Firefighters had their hands full battling a 2-alarm and a 3-alarm fire Wednesday morning.
The NOFD reports firefighters battled a 2-alarm fire that tore through two Broadmoor homes in the 3200 block of Toledano Street. It happened at about 3:42 a.m. Wednesday morning. When fire crews arrived the flames had spread to the occupied units of the duplex.

Across the river on the West Bank, New Orleans firefighters battled a second fire. A three-alarm fire burned its way through a Life Storage facility in Algiers. It happened early this morning in the 3200 block of General De Gaulle Drive. Fire officials say the contents in the storage units made fighting the fire difficult.

No one was injured in both fires.
The cause of the fires is under investigation.
