A late night crash on Interstate 10 has left one man dead and another person in the hospital.
According to NOPD spokesman Aaron Looney, the crash happened just before 11 p.m. Sunday at the westbound Carrollton Avenue exit.
Looney says the car, a Honda Civic, was exiting when the driver lost control. The car then flipped and landed in the neutral ground. The driver of the car was ejected when the car flipped.
Both the driver and the passenger were taken to the hospital. The driver later died. The victim's condition is unknown.
The crash remains under investigation.
