The New Orleans Police Department’s Crime Lab Division adds five new Crime Scene Investigators.
The CSI investigators completed a three-week comprehensive training in crime scene processing and evidence collection. The investigators will now start their three-month field training.
Members of the Orleans Parish Criminal Sheriff’s Office, Tulane University Police, and University of New Orleans Police also attended portions of the training, specifically fingerprinting and DNA collection.
