New Orleans Police say a would-be armed robbery in the French Quarter ended with the robbery running away after his victims attacked him.
"Victims walking when suspect approached, produced handgun and demanded property. Victims fought with suspect over gun, gained control and demanded suspect leave," according to an initial police report. "Suspect fled."
This happened shortly after 2:00am in the 1200 block of Bourbon Street.
The report shows the unidentified armed man pulled a gun on a woman and three men before they turned the tables on him.
