In all, five women were wounded. One of those women later died at a hospital.
About 10 minutes later, police responded to another shooting about a half-mile away from the first shooting. Police say a gunman pulled up to a car parked on Lacombe Street between Hayne and Curran Boulevards and started shooting. in which a man and a woman were sitting and opened fire. The woman ran away, while the man drove away.
