The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a shooting that injured a man in Mid City on Friday.
The NOPD says it happened in the 2800 block of Conti Street. Police reported the shooting around 11:00 am.
An initial police reports show a male victim is suffering with a gunshot wound(s). He was transported to the hospital via private conveyance. Police did not say what condition the male victim is in.
