New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a homicide in the 4600 block of Washington Ave.
Police say shortly before 1:30.m. Saturday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a shooting in that area.
"Upon arrival, officers located a male victim with multiple gunshot wounds ," said police in a statement. "The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was declared deceased."
