Police in New Orleans are investigating who may be responsible for a shooting in the French Quarter.
Police reported the shooting in an alert sent about 11:30 p.m. Monday night.
The shooting happened near the intersection of Bourbon & Gov.
Nicholls streets.
“Initial reports show one adult male arrived at the hospital by private conveyance after sustaining a gunshot wound. No further details are available at this time,” said the NOPD alert.
Police did not say what condition the victim was in when they arrived at the hospital.
Police are working to find a suspect or a motive for the shooting.
