The New Orleans Police Department says a fatal car crash this morning in St. Roch is being investigated as a homicide.
It happened when Ford SUV crashed into a building at the intersection of Marais St. and St. Roch Ave. shortly after 11 a.m. Monday.
The crash resulted in the death of a woman. Police have detained the man who was at the wheel of the SUV.
The incident remains under investigation.
