New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 3100 block of Rue Parc Fontaine.
Police say shortly after 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Initial reports show a male victim with a gunshot wound to the head," said police in a statement. "He was pronounced deceased on the scene by EMS."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
