New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 7000 block of Bullard Ave.
Police say shortly after 11:00 a.m. today, officers were sent to investigate a call of a man shot in that location.
"Upon their arrival, found the victim lying on the ground shot," said New Orleans Police Department spokesman Garry Flot. "Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim dead."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
