New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a fatal shooting near the corner of Washington Ave. and Loyola Street.
Police say around 5 p.m, officers were sent to investigate a call of a shooting in that location.
"Initial reports indicate there are three victims," said police in a statement. " One died at the scene. The other two have been transported to the hospital."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
