New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a shooting in the I-10 West/S. Carrollton/Tulane Ave. interchange.
Police say shortly before 7:45 p.m., officers were sent to investigate a call of a shooting in that location.
"Initial reports show an unidentified adult female was shot multiple times while in a vehicle," said police in a statement.
Police say anyone who has information should call Crimestoppers at (504) 822-1111 or toll free at (877) 903-7867 (STOP).
Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward.
