New Orleans Police homicide detectives are investigating a homicide in the 2600 block of Touro Street.
"At about 1:30 p.m., NOPD Fifth District officers were conducting a wellness check at the location," NOPD said in a statement. "Upon arrival, officers discovered an unresponsive adult male inside of a residence. The victim was declared deceased at the scene."

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
