The New Orleans Police Department is asking the public to help them find a stolen dog.
The white Shih Tzu (pictured), named NOLA, was dog-napped Sunday afternoon. Police say the dog's owner let the animal outside her home in the 3200 block of Palmetto St. around 12:20 p.m. When the dog did not return, the owner checked surveillance video and saw an unknown person take her dog:

Callers to Crimestoppers do not have to leave their names and may be eligible for a cash reward.
