A man is dead after police say he was involved in a fight in New Orleans East.
Police responded to the call from Wales Street a few blocks off Downman Road around 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
According to NOPD investigators, the victim died at a hospital shortly after 8 a.m. One person has been detained as part of the ongoing investigation.
