The New Orleans police department needs the public’s help in identifying two suspects in an armed carjacking investigation.
Police say the carjacking happened last Tuesday, December 15, in the 6300 block of Woodland Drive.
An NOPD police report says, “The victim was reportedly seated in their gray 1997 Buick Regal bearing Louisiana license plate OIP056 when they were approached from the rear by two unidentified black males (pictured), both armed with handguns. The suspect in the red hooded sweatshirt allegedly demanded the victim exit the vehicle. The victim complied. Both subjects entered the victim's vehicle and fled in the vehicle.”
Police describe the first suspect as wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, a black male, possibly in his mid-20s, slim build, clean shaved, and unknown hairstyle.
The subject was about 5’8” to 5” 11” tall and about 130 pounds in weight, in his mid-20’s and wearing blue jeans and red tennis shoes, according to the police report.
The NOPD describes the second suspect police described as a black male, slim build and unknown hairstyle.
They says the subject was about 5’8” to 5” 11” tall and about 130 plus pounds in weight and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, and black tennis shoes, says the report.
The victim’s vehicle is described as having tinted windows, damage to the rear driver’s side fender and a front license plate with a picture of a white dove.
