Video shows a disturbance at the Popeye's on St. Charles at the corner of Erato St. It is now clear exactly when the incident occurred.
"I'm aware of it," New Orleans Police Interim Superintendent Michelle Woodfork said Monday morning. "We have initiated a disciplinary investigation."
Chief Woodfork says the officer has been reassigned until the investigation is completed.
"At this time, I'm not really sure what was going on," she said. "In effort to get in front of it, we did initiate a formal disciplinary investigation to see if there was any wrongdoing going on at that time."
