The quick action of New Orleans police officers responding to a shooting, ends with two male suspects arrested moments after the alleged shooting.
On Sunday, NOPD officers responded to a call of a shooting in the 5100 block of Norgate Drive. When officers arrived, they found the male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The man was transported to a local hospital by EMS.
As police were working the crime scene a witness told officers they saw the two alleged suspects flee into a nearby home just a block away.
Cops surrounded the home and the suspects surrendered to police.
According to an NOPD report, while the suspects were inside the house they also stole a cell phone and car keys from a 17-year-old woman and a 40-year-old woman who were inside the home. The two shooting suspects were arrested after their surrender. Police have not released their identity at this time.
