The NOPD has obtained an arrest warrant for Curtis Lloyd in the investigation of an attempted homicide on October 5, 2020 in near a motel off Bullard and I-10 in New Orleans East.
At about 11:52 a.m., NOPD Seventh District detectives were notified of a female victim having been shot at the listed location.
Upon arrival, detectives discovered the victim sitting in a vehicle and having sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
At that time, the victim told police that her ex-boyfriend, later positively identified as Lloyd, was the perpetrator.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Lloyd on charges of attempt murder and aggravated second-degree battery.
