A shooting in New Orleans East has landed two people in the hospital.
That shooting happened around 8 p.m. Friday on Chef Menteur Highway near America Street.
A New Orleans Police Department spokesperson says when officers arrived on scene, they didn’t find any victims. However, investigators later learned the victims drove themselves to a hospital. Officers caught up with the victims after hospital personnel notified police of the victims’ arrival.
The victims’ conditions are unknown.
