A high-end car stolen during a Friday night carjacking in New Orleans East has been found, New Orleans Police Department officials say.
According to investigators, the people who stole the white Maserati are still at large.
An NOPD spokesperson says the victim was driving the sports car on the Chef Menteur Highway when he pulled over to make a phone call just after 11 p.m. That’s when, the victim said, a black sedan blocked his path. The spokesperson said several armed suspects got out of that sedan, pulled guns on the victim, and stole the car.
