The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in wanted for a battery on a police officer.
Police say it happened at about 1:20 a.m. on January 3, in the 800 block of Harrison Avenue.
According to police, the pictured unknown male armed himself with a metal chair and struck a uniformed NOPD officer on scene before fleeing. The officer sustained minor injuries.
“The subject is believed to be approximately 21 years old, standing about 5’11” with a medium build. Upon location, the suspect will be arrested for battery of a police officer,” said an NOPD report.
