A woman is in the hospital after the latest shooting in New Orleans.
Acccording to an NOPD spokesperson, the shooting happened just before noon on Saturday on Almonaster Avenue at Higgins Boulevard.
Police say they found the woman with a gunshot wound when they arrived in scene. An EMS crew took the victim to a hospital. Her condition was not disclosed.
