A Slidell man uploaded child sexual abuse images and animal sexual abuse images to the social media and messaging service Snapchat, the Louisiana Attorney General's Office says.
"A NCMEC Cybertip reported a Snapchat user uploaded a video of child sexual abuse material to the social media platform," the attorney general's office said. "Additional investigation revealed this user also produced and shared images/videos involving the sexual abuse of animals."
The AG's office says Louisiana Bureau of Investigation detectives identified the man as Gage William Ticker. Authorities arrested him at his residence Wednesday.
According to the attorney general's office, this isn't Ticker's first arrest for these types of crimes. Authorities said that in November 2024, Ticker was arrested on charges including molestation of a juvenile, sexual battery, pornography involving juveniles, and sexual abuse of an animal.
Officials say Ticker was free from jail on those charges after posting a $250,000 bond.
