A 30-year-old Pearl River High School teacher faces charges of inappropriate behavior with a student.
St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office detectives say an anonymous tip about Arianna Kadinger led to an investigation, which the sheriff's offices says discovered text messages featuring inappropriate language and photographs, sent to two students.
Deputies booked Kadinger Friday on four felony counts of prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and student and one misdemeanor count of same.
"It is very unsettling that an individual who is in a position to be a role model and educator in one of schools took advantage of that position in such a disturbing manner," said St. Tammany Parish Sheriff Randy Smith.
