Health care giant Ochsner will debut their newest clinic at the redeveloped Clearview Mall in Metairie on Tuesday.
The event will be attended by Jefferson Parish officials and others for a ribbon cutting of the project.
Wednesday the clinic will begin normal operations from 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
After hours and weekend appointments will also be available for select services as needed.
Ochsner says over 250 clinic appointments are already on the books for Wednesday.
The Ochsner Medical Clinic—Clearview is the largest of its kind in the Metairie area encompassing over 185,000 square feet of space.
The facility boasts primary and specialty care clinics, outpatient surgery, physical therapy, a pain management center, drive-thru pharmacy, endoscopy suites, a Medi-Spa, behavioral health services and a cardiology and cath lab.
A 10-bed micro hospital is also features along with the medical center.
The sprawling facility even features wayfinding to help patients navigate the complex.
Express check in and even valet parking are available.
The addition of the Ochsner super clinic is one of four major projects to rehab the 50-year old shopping center into Clearview City Center as a live-work-play development that will feature apartments, new retail, restaurants, commercial office space and green space for outdoor events.
