One wouldn't expect to see a whole lot of purple and gold in the student section of the University of Mississippi's football stadium this weekend, but Ole Miss officials apparently don't want to take any chances during Saturday's game with LSU.

According to Yahoo Sports, the school has announced that "no person wearing an opposing team's gear or colors will be allowed entrance into the student section. Additionally, anyone found to be wearing opposing team apparel or colors in the student section will be removed."
The hype surrounding the top-ten matchup of SEC rivals has been growing, and the game has been highly anticipated ever since LSU head coach Lane Kiffin announced late last year that he was quitting his job as Ole Miss football coach to take the job in Baton Rouge.
Authorities in Mississippi have even brought in extra police from around the region to make sure things don't get too out of hand in Oxford.
Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry even joked in an interview on ESPN that he was thinking of sending Coach Kiffin in a Louisiana National Guard F-16 with the team riding in a C-130.
ESPN will broadcast College GameDay from the Ole Miss campus with actor and Mississippi native Morgan Freeman as the show's celebrity guest picker.
