The Krewe of Endymion today announced that LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne will be the grand marshal for the krewe's 2025 parade.
"Olivia or Livvy as many know her, an All-American, national champion collegiate gymnast and social media sensation has captured the hearts of fans nationwide with her incredible performances and inspiring dedication to the sport," Endymion President Dan Kelly said in a news release.
He expects Dunne's massive social media presence will attract many of her fans.
"As the most followed NCAA athlete with over 8 million TikTok followers and 5.3 million Instagram followers, Livvy is a trailblazer in the NIL... space and empowers female student -athletes through the Livvy Fund."
Endymion rolls March 1, 2025, at 4pm.
Kelly says, "Her spirit and energy reflect that of Mardi Gras, and we can't wait to celebrate this special occasion with her leading the way."
Endymion is one of the largest krewes and parades in all of the Carnival celebration.
The procession features massive super-floats and unique parade units.
The parade ends inside the Superdome. This year, Katy Perry and Train will be among the performers at the Endymion Extravaganza.
