Jefferson Parish Sheriffs are investigating a shooting incident in Harvey that has left one man dead and one woman critically injured.
At around 1:20 am, deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of Manhattan Blvd. in reference to woman being shot.
Upon arriving, they located the two victims in the parking lot of an apartment complex.
The female victim was shot in the face.
She was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The male victim was also shot at least once, and he was pronounced dead on the scene.
There is no suspect or motive information available at this time.
