Weeks after a fire closed the entire building down, the New Orleans Civil District Court building at 421 Loyola Ave. is set to reopen Monday morning.
Court officials say all necessary environmental and safety remediation has been completed. The building will reopen at 8 a.m.
There is one exception: eviction hearings in First City Court will happen at Orleans Juvenile Court at 1100 Milton Street, since legal notices have already been sent to the parties to report on the following dates:
