The recount on the Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office millage renewal is in, and the measure picked up two more votes.
This means the tax was renewed by a margin of four votes
According to NOLA.com, two mail-in ballots containing "no" votes had been double-counted in the initial tally.
The millage makes up about a fifth of the sheriff's annual budget.
