A woman was shot in the arm sometime after 1am near St.
Andrew and Freret Streets.
The female victim was taken by a private car to a local hospital for treatment.
There is no update on her condition.
NOPD is investigating the incident.
Meanwhile a teenager was shot in the back near the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Marais Street about 12:45 this morning.
The injured victim made their own way to a local hospital for treatment.
The condition of the young man is unknown at this time.
