A Madisonville man is dead after he was hit by a motorhome while walking along I-12 near Covington.
State troopers say the crash happened around 3 p.m. Monday near the interstate’s junction with U. S. 190.
According to investigators, David Brassieur was walking along the westbound lanes of the interstate when the motorhome struck him. Brassieur was taken to an area hospital, where he later died. The motorhome’s driver was not injured.
The crash remains under investigation.
