An alligator is going viral after he was caught trying to shop on a budget.
A Facebook post published by the Plaquemines Parish Sheriff's Office shows the reptile sitting outside the doors of a local Dollar General early Tuesday morning. Deputy Tony Palmisano responded to the scene and snapped the now famous photo of the gator.
The sheriff's office later jokingly posted about what happened to the alligator.
"For all you inquiring minds, Mr. Gator picked up his Little Debbie snacks, hopped in his truck and went fishing at the Civic Drive Fishing Pier in Port Sulphur! He's just #LivingTheDream," the post read.
