On Monday, March 15, Plaquemines Parish residents will have the opportunity to get the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.
The Vaccination site will happen at the Buras Auditorium, 35619 HWY 11, Buras, LA.
Appointments are required and the vaccine is only available to those meeting the current LDH phase criteria.
The call center is open for reservations starting at 9 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, and will remain open until all vaccine appointments are filled.

You must have a reservation to receive a vaccine and it will only be honored on the date and time reserved. Anyone registered who does not meet the current criteria will be turned away.
Parish leaders say the vaccine distribution event will take place rain or shine. People who register for the shot at this event agree to return to the same location for the second vaccine 28 days after the first dose.
