The two people accused in the death of 2-year-old Ezekiel Harry have plead not guilty to first degree murder.

Maya Jones, 28, and Jermaine Robinson, 37, will stand trial for killing the toddler November 14th.

The two are accused of killing the boy, stuffing his body in a duffel bag, and dumping the bag in a garbage can while telling authorities the child was kidnapped.

An autopsy of the little boy showed he died of severe blunt force trauma.

The two are being held on $5.1-million bond, each.

Robinson plead not guilty to drug charges on Tuesday.

Both Jones and Robinson face first degree murder charges.

The Terrebonne Parish District Attorney says he has not taken the death penalty off the table.
