Lafourche Parish Sheriff Craig Webre says detectives are investigating an overnight shooting that left one man injured. The shooting happened in the Abby Subdivision in Thibodaux at about 10:30 p.m. Sunday night.
“When deputies arrived, they found a vehicle parked at a residence in the 500 block of Paula Drive which appeared to have been damaged from gunfire. A male victim in his 20s had been taken to a local hospital for treatment of a bullet wound to the leg that was not life-threatening,” says an LPSO report.
The investigation into this shooting incident is continuing. Tipsters could be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 in cash if the information leads to an arrest.
