Traveling for Thanksgiving, or Christmas? A new survey from the American Hotel and Lodging Association finds close to 60 percent of us would just rather stay home, and higher gasoline prices get the blame.
GasBuddy.com's Patrick DeHaan says he doesn't see that changing any time soon.
"Bottom line is consumers are going to have to dig deeper if they're hitting the road for the holidays," DeHaan said. "There are some inflationary pressures out there."
Crude oil prices over the last month are the highest they have been in seven years.
