A possible tornado tore through New Orleans overnight.
Shortly after 2:00 am, residents report hearing what sounded like a train and then felt homes shake as trees and power lines came down with debris scattering. Cell phones buzzed with Emergency Alerts warning residents of the possibility of a tornado in the area.
The storm cell moved through the Carrollton area, into downtown New Orleans, and across the river to Algiers.
