This morning's storms knocked out power for more than 9,000 Entergy customers in Metairie and Kenner this morning.
By late afternoon, power had been restored to most of them, while about 1,700 still did not have electricity.
According to Entergy’s outage map, most of the the power outages were by the lake near Clearview and Transcontinental, and West Napoleon and David Drive, and in Kenner west of David Drive between Veterans and W. Napoleon.
Power was also out at the foot of the Causeway Bridge in Metairie including Lakeside Mall. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for Orleans, and Jefferson Parishes.
