Reverend Ted Dziak, 72, has come under scrutiny after allegations of forcible rape were levied at him by accuser who says the assault occurred nearly 20-years ago.

40-year old Timothy Ballard says Dziak assaulted him at least four times when they were at a retreat in Central America.

Ballard says the assaults were always after heavy drinking when Ballard says he was unable to consent because he was too drunk to fight back.

According to the Times-Picayune/New Orleans Advocate, Dziak has faced inappropriate misconduct complaints while teaching and serving at Loyola and Boston College.

He was relieved of his current position at a school in New York after the allegations were made.

Loyola University New Orleans President Tania Tetlow has sent a letter to Alumni to speak out if they have any issues with Dziak.

In the email, Tetlow says:  "There are so many things I want to say. As a lawyer, I want to remind us to await the facts about the allegations of sexual assault and not rush to judgment, as hard as that can be," Tetlow said in the email. "As someone who has spent a career advocating for survivors of sexual assault, I remind us to pray hard for those who go through unimaginable pain."
