Fans get their first look at how Coach Kellen Moore's Saints work together, when mini camp begins today.
Unlike the voluntary workouts that have been going on the past few weeks, all players under contract must be there.
What kind of team chemistry is Coach Kellen Moore building? How well do players know their assignments? Which quarterback will have the edge for starter? Voice of the Saints Mike Hoss says we still have a ways to go before the answers to those questions become apparent.
"It's kind of tough to really evaluate so I say, just, it's awesome that they're having this, you get to see the new guys and kind of make up your own evaluation," Mike said.
But the work of the two likely candidates for QB1: second-year player Spencer Rattler or rookie Tyler Shough, is clear to get the most interest.
"You're going to see a little but of both but you're going to get to see probably the maturation process of Spencer and you're going to get to see Tyler for the first time," said Mike.
But for football-starved Who Dats, it's the first Saints action since the 2024 regular season ended, and that's what matters most.
