What's next when it comes to getting to the bottom of Sunday's power blackouts? Subpoenas and public hearings, says Public Service Commissioner Eric Skrmetta.

"We've already begun the investigation and issues interrogatories and subpoenas," he said, adding that the explanations he has heard so far from the Midcontinent Independent System Operator, or MISO, have not been satisfactory.

Skrmetta said MISO knew by the middle of last week about Entergy's issues at two of its power plants, so the demand on the power system on Sunday should not have come as a surprise.
