The Archdiocese of New Orleans is going to add seven names to their list of church officials credibly accused of sexual abuse, WWL-TV and The Times-Picayune | New Orleans Advocate reports today.
All are members of the Franciscan order. At least one incident is believed to have happened in metro New Orleans.
According to reports, the Archdiocese of New Orleans relied on an audit from the Franciscans, which listed 31 preists and religious brothers as having "substantiated child sex abuse allegations against them."
