As The Acadian Advocate reports, Louisiana State Police are investigating what led a Lafayette police officer to shoot and kill a man Thursday morning.
The news source reports that the fatal shooting happened as police were attempting to serve a warrant on the man suspected in a shooting Wednesday night.
The officer-involved shooting happened at about 2:30 a.m. this morning in the 200 block of Paul Breaux Avenue.
