A crash on I-12 Tuesday morning leaves three teenagers seriously injured.
It happened this morning at around 7:45 a.m. on I-12 westbound in Covington.
As WWLTV reports, Louisiana State Police say the teens were in a Volkswagen Jetta when it collided with a Toyota Sequoia SUV.
Authorities say the Jetta flipped on impact. One passenger who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected during the crash. All three teens were taken to the hospital. One of the teens had to be transported by helicopter. The extent of their injuries is not known at this time.
The adult driver and two children inside the Toyota were not injured. The crash is still under investigation.
