A New Orleans Police officer is accused of raping a woman at his apartment according to The New Orleans Police Department.
According to an NOPD report, the Public Integrity Bureau arrested 29-year-old Gerry Paul on Wednesday.
According to The Times-Picayune | The New Orleans Advocate off duty and at his Tulane Avenue apartment and drinking champagne with a woman he took on a date.
The newspaper reports Gerry and the woman were engaged in sexual activity when the woman allegedly told Paul to stop but allegedly says he forced himself on her.
Paul was booked with one count of second-degree rape on Thursday according to the department.
