There may only be two parades on the schedule tonight, but there is plenty to do during the day for Lundi Gras.

"The George B. Rainey Zulu Lundi Gras Festival will be held at the Audubon Woldenberg Riverfront Park on Monday at 10," said New Orleans City Council Member Eugene Green.

Kermit Ruffins will be among those performing at Woldenberg Park this afternoon before the Zulu King and Queen arrive.

Just upriver at Spanish Plaza, there's more music and fun before Rex arrives, and is handed control of the city by the mayor. The event is followed by a fireworks display. It gets underway at noon and ends at 6:30 p.m.
